Hi. I'm Chad.
My name is Chad Murray. I'm a lawyer. I help clients deal with complicated legal issues. You might be expecting the standard lawyer website full of fluff about how tough, tenacious, and hard-working I am. You won't find too much of that here. Instead, I'll tell you a little bit about me so you can decide if I'm someone you want to work with.
My practice is different
Working with me is probably a bit different than working with most other lawyers you've dealt with. I use technology to run a lean and nimble law practice. When you call my number, there's a good chance I will be the one on the other end of the phone. You won't have a paralegal or secretary doing your work—you've hired me, for better or worse, and I'm going to do the work for you.
Great service is my baseline
A lot of lawyers make it hard to do business with them. They work during the day and can only meet with you during office hours. They won't respond to email and don't answer their phone. That's not how I do business. You can see me in person at my office, call me on the phone, email me, use Facetime or Skype to video chat, or schedule an appointment for me to come to you. I'm not about to make it hard for you to talk to me. That's just bad service, and that's not what I'm about.
Your Initial consultation
I have three goals when I meet with a new client. First, I want to make sure that it is a good fit and that I am the right person to help solve their problem. Second, I want to figure out the best way to solve their problem. Third, I want to make sure the solution we pick is going to stand the test of time. If you keep having to come back to me to solve the same problem over and over, I'm just not doing my job well. When we talk about your needs, my goal is to figure out these three things.
What you can expect of me
My goal is to give peace of mind to my clients and to help their businesses succeed. My relationship with my clients is founded in trust, accessibility, and authenticity. When you become a client, you can expect:
- Actual consultations to address your needs, not a sales pitch
- Off-site visits to your home or business
- Evening and weekend appointments
- Reasonable fees and alternative billing arrangements (when they make sense)
- A very good lawyer taking care of what's important to you
